The Rarest Type of late 17th Century English Wooden

There are only two antique examples of this ultra rare William and Mary Period English wooden dating from 1680 know to exist world wide. Compared to this, there are around 40 antique examples of the classic, more well known type of William and Mary period English wooden (like the one on our blog header) left in existence.

David's Newest

I rarely ever allow myself to have any artistic license with the dolls we make as that would not make the dolls we create exact to the 17th and 18th century English woodens we love so much. After all, that's what sets Old Pretenders apart as the only 100% historically accurate and correct English wooden dolls made today.
On rare occasion, I just have to make something with a bit of a "hybrid" look to it and I am very pleased so far with my newest male wooden. Hope everyone enjoys his photos portraits so far.
Best Wishes: David
